PT Kapal Angkut Indonesia (KAI) is a privately owned shipping line company, founded in 2012. As a ship owner and operator, KAI provides marine related charter services of tugs and barges to transport coal movements and other bulk aggregates, passengers, animals and goods, as well as B3 (hazardous materials).
KAI continues to explore joint venture set-up and strategic alliances possibilities in its existing business line and plans for expansion and diversification of its fleet. KAI further plans to extend its services to the International region, focusing on coal transportation and other marine related activities, to meet the ever-changing needs of the shipping industry.
